Oftentimes we get stuck in the surface level, day-to-day routines of our busy lives and neglect the innermost parts of ourselves. This causes disconnection, addiction, and a loss of self. However, hope is not lost, as it is never too late to rediscover the joy of knowing our true self. When working with clients, I strive to give a voice to their innermost parts in order to foster connection and sense of self.
My trainings in EMDR and Brainspotting assist in helping discover the roots of the traumas that keep us from acknowledging our inner selves. Another aspect of knowing our true self is defining what healthy sexuality is. As an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT) and Associate Partner Trauma Therapist (APTT), I help clients define healthy sexuality and intimacy for themselves.
I love working with adolescents and young adults, couples, and families. When working with my clients. I draw from multiple therapeutic styles including systemic and somatic approaches, polyvagal theory, attachment-based theories, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral theory.
