LPC, ASAT, BSP I, EMDR
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Little Rock, Arkansas. I have significant experience from residential treatment and have years of experience in the outpatient setting working with couples struggling with infidelity and sexual addiction.
My primary work is with men who struggle with intimacy and attachment disorders, including sexual addiction. I help clients learn to navigate and hold their emotions as well as those of their partners. My specialty is helping men who struggle to identify their emotions learn to do so, as well as support and hear their partners emotions as well, rather than running from them. I help clients de-construct their negative belief systems and make progress in finding long lasting connection and intimacy with those who matter to them.
I am an Associate Sexual Addiction Therapist (ASAT), EMDR and BSP I trained. Additionally, I am currently working on attaining my PhD in Clinical Sexology through the International Institute of Clinical Sexology. My passion is in helping men who struggle with intimacy disorders find the road to deep and connected intimacy with their partners, family, and friends that they have been longing for. I utilize my understanding of attachment and systems theory, as well as cognitive behavioral and regulation theories, to help clients find the road to healing and regulation.
I feel a deep sense of gratitude for what I get to do. Gratitude to the addicts who consider giving me a chance to help them through what is often one of the most challenging and difficult seasons of their lives, as well as to provide me access to their stories. Gratitude to the partners who trust me to be an accountability source for their spouse and help take that role off their plate. And gratitude to the coupleship for trusting me to help them on their journey back together and to a deeper bond than they previously experienced.
