At the Bellevue Trauma Recovery Center (BTRC), we specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complex and deeply personal challenges of betrayal trauma, sex addiction, infidelity recovery, PTSD, and C-PTSD. Founded by Alexandra Katehakis, Ph.D., MFT, CSAT, CST in 2005, we have over 20 years of experience supporting clients & their partners heal from addictions related to sex, love & pornography. We are passionate about helping clients develop healthy sexuality by going beyond “S” recovery treatments & providing sex therapy to individuals and couples. We offer in-person and remote services in our West Los Angeles office including individual, group, & couple therapy, SLA Intensives, Partner Betrayal Trauma Intensives, workshops, coaching KAP treatment, EMDR, & psychological testing.

We treat adults 18 and older who are seeking healing from mental health disorders, Trauma, substance use, sex and love addiction, intimacy disorders, and betrayal trauma. Our programs are designed for individuals facing complex, co-occurring conditions, offering gender-specific residential care for both men and women. With a focus on personalized, trauma-informed treatment, we support those struggling with behaviors like compulsive sexual acting out, disordered eating, and emotional dysregulation, helping clients achieve lasting recovery and self-understanding.
